Awstats v's Google Analytics

I was just wondering which I should take more notice of

Google Analytics ?
Awstats ?

I seem to be getting conflicting stats between the two? I would have thought Awstats was more reliable as its direct on the server, but am I right?

analytics is on the page. I would compare the two and unless there us a huge difference, not worry tooo much about it.
