Need some advice about improving conversion ratios

Im interested in knowing does anyone here do this for $$$ :make custom landing pages and makes pages that convert and putting sponsors which convert the best? Does anyone provide such service?

i always felt that only i knew basics of marketing, i was always better at generating traffic. But i lacked at being a true marketer. i mean i can still make decent money but if i can learn how to find better sponsors or promote them differently i can probably increase my conversation ratio.

Can anyone give me tips on how i can learn how to be a better marketer? How do you learn this? any books or links you can point me to?

Is there someone i can hire who can build me webpages[landing pages] with sponsors that would convert very good? or its best to do your own shit since you know your traffic best?

i know its all about trial and error and seeing what other people are doing to getting ideas...

You might want to take a course in marketing, or read a few books.

As an affiliate, I?d be more concerned about effectively reaching my target market more than anything else. If I can reach the people I want to reach, then I?ll get my sales. That may mean changing your promotional techniques and/or redesigning your sites. If you can tell us which of your sites are not converting as well as you?d like, then someone can probably give you specific advise to better help you out.

As far as learning marketing... it never hurts to study books and take classes, but I feel that the best marketers are born and raised, not made in an institute.

are you looking to promote your own site or promote sponsors? Right now, the FEW PEOPLE that still knows how to convert will never tell you what to do. If someone says the opposite, I'd be very hesitating to follow their advice. On a general basis, just try to promote niches you really know, if you're good at getting traffic concentrate on it and replace quantity with quality as you learn the "how to", try different things, build non-graphics landing pages and test again gfx filled ones. Testing and research is the mother, father and whole family of marketing. More likely, a good text page with just a few pictures will make wonders compared to heavy graphics pages.
