Do you have the all in one seo plugin installed? By default, the tags are the only thing set for SE's to follow. Although, I usually set the tags to nofollow and allow categories, but that is probably personal preference. Even if you have tags set to nofollow, they are still links that make it easy for SE's to find your stuff. -
