That's shit. Depends on what you want from software, it can cost $2k to $5k max.

Can this be true? Do you really need expensive software? It seems like there must be a cheap way to funnel cam feeds through a website.

Is there no 3rd party business that might take care of the technical stuff for a portion of the profits?

I see that there's a lot of money in web-cams... People are paying up to $200-400 for an hour with these girls sometimes. If you've got the girls and the girls already have the cams etc. set up, and if you have the traffic, it seems like you have a potential gold mine. The question is, how do you fill in the blanks?

Any ideas? Anybody?

Just some perspective...

I lived in a boot-strapped cam house (Digital 8mm cameras mounted in the corners of rooms, a computer for each to convert the signal, and a T1 to the house)... times 24 cameras (with night vision and audio), that still adds up... so $5k to $10k to get started plus more for monthly upkeep doesn't sound so unreal.

We were never a hard-core house, and it was hard to get people to pay monthy to watch us cook... but if you are wil have hard-core content in the house you should be golden.

Keep in mind too that we were tech-savvy people living in the house and doing the cam support (which, with our set-up, often included zip ties and duct tape)... if you are filling your house with sexy women, chances are you'll need to factor in the price of a full time techie to keep things going.

All of this is purely hypothetical. I have no actual intention of starting this kind of business, but even so, I'm interested in the idea of the cheapest start-up possible. I'm not talking about a voyeur-dorm knock-off kinda thing... More of an i-friends knock-off kinda thing. The girls would be scattered all over the globe, with their own web-cams, doing their own tech-support, making a large percentage of the profits.

What I'm wondering about is if it'd be possible to create a portal site for all these girls. It'd be a partnership with them. They provide the content, I'd provide the traffic, interface and billing system. Something like that. Not membership based (although there might be a cheap initial membership fee)... billing by the minute. I dunno. How hard would it be to make a site like this? Could I hire a programmer to build the structure and then go on from there? Do I actually need to buy a lot of software for that, just to provide a link to all the web-cams and set-up billing by the minute?

They have a very easy set-up process, cam software, the how to, and can make you tons of money.

Probably the biggest live cam network on the net.

His girls are in several countries and he has a studio I am sure he would set you up as a satelite office and you could use the Cash Flow to branch off on your own after you were already doing it.

The cheapest way to do it is to send them to a site like IFriends & have the cheques sent to you. You set up the chathost account & make subaccounts for each girl, send in her ID etc. IFriends pays you & you pay the girls their cut.

'Course, if the girls were smart they'd figure out that they could just sign up on IFriends themselves.

Another route would be setting up a studio for Interclimax. Much better money than IFriends (less girls to compete with) & the girls can't just run off & set it up themselves. You would have to shell out some cash to buy their systems though.
