Basic epassporte and walltet question

Hi there,

I sporadically use the epassporte with the Visa Electron card. Before the wallet feature was released it was easy to withdraw money from an ATM. But now with the wallet I'm completely confused. I couldn't draw money from ATM today. It said "Card declined". So I remembered this new feature and thought I have to transfer some bucks from virtual Visa to the wallet. So i did. I tried again to draw money. Now it says: "Maximum number of withdrawels exceeded". Again no money.

So now I'm trying to figure out the cause. Is it basically right that I have to transfer money from virtual to wallet to draw it from ATM? Our is it another cause that I don't get money?

You need to transfer the money from the wallet to your epass account and than you can go to the ATM. My guess is that the problem was the ATM and not the Epass. I would transfer the wallet money bach to the virtual card and than try again.

You can also try to read the insturction at your epassporte page ;) that mostly helps.

Basicly if you need money transfer from Wallet to VISA. On your VISA balance there needs to be enough money, at least the money you wish to use. In your wallet is your 'savings', the money you will not use with your VISA card.

Thanks for help. I transferd the money back to the virtual and could finally withdraw the money. And... yes, I did read the instruction but when I tried the first time to draw money the virtual was full and the wallet was empty but I didn't get money. That was why I was so confused... Anyway, it finally worked
