    PR1 through 5 sites...

Ok...here's my first question to make me sound like a total noob...but what are PR1, PR2, PR3, PR4 and PR5 sites.

It's probably something really simple but it's doing my head in trying to figure it out.

Its Google's pagerank system, really though it means nothing unless you're selling links!

Agreed, PR is pretty pointless now. It was somewhat a big thing a few years ago but now it doesn't really matter.

Thanks guys...I was feeling like such a damn idiot, seeing PR written all over the place and having no idea what it meant.

Just curious that as it no longer matters, why is it such a relevant point when someone is selling toplinks/hardlinks and such?

It no longer matters to me personally and alot of other people, but for links people still value it.

2 years ago PR was very important when selling links and selling websites, but not so much anymore.

it can be an ok indication to some things, such as someone selling a website that is 6-12 months old with no pr is likely selling you a rubbish, blacklisted website.
