Conversion Ratios

Hey there, I asked this at the bottom of another thread but figured I'd get a better response by making it its own thread:

What would you guys say is a good conversion ratio for affiliate traffic? 1/250? 1/500? I know that this is not a cut and dry question as there is all kinds of different traffic and even the best affiliate programs can't prevent bad traffic from being sent. Still in the most general average sense, what would be considered a "good" conversion ratio? What would be considered a satisfactory ratio? A bad ratio? An Excellent ratio?

If you are getting sales ratios of anything below 1:150 you are doing very good.

Anything above 1:350 you need to question the quality of your traffic or the program you are doing business with.
