advice needed

hi everyone.
One of my sites is www.pornartgraphybook.com where I sell my erotic novel in .pdf version.
I have a bit of traffic but the sales are VERY slow.
any advice how I can improve it?
also I am considering to buy a bit of traffic to see how it would change things. so any ideas what is the best place to buy it and/or what kind of traffic do I need to buy?
any help is greatly appreciated

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy traffic, it will be a complete waste of your money.

Erotic stories are a tough sell without very targeted traffic. Since I don't know what you're already doing to generate traffic I'm not going to take the time to cover all the possible ways to get targeted traffic to a site like yours but if you care to give us more information we can probably give you some advice.

Personally I think the text on your site is WAY too small and very difficult to read so I didn't even try. I'm guessing that lots of your visitors will have the same reaction.

I don't understand the sample photos. How do they tie into the book? Are they just on the site to titillate or are they included in the book? If I want to read erotic stories, why would I care about looking at naked pictures of the author?

The sample page is useless because I don't see anything more than a paragraph. You need to provide a full chapter from the book as a sample.

I think the site needs some work but have no way of knowing if that's the real reason for your slow sales since it could also be your sources of traffic or the fact that you have no traffic at all.

To reiterate, do not buy traffic, unless it's in the form of paid advertising and I wouldn't recommend paying for advertising until the site makes more sense and does a better job of selling your product.
