    Web-MASTER/MISTRESS Wanted!

Hello GFY'ers this is one of my few posts here as I prefer to lurk and learn from all of you!
I'm posting now because i'm in need of a good webmaster, wherever on earth you may be. I need someone who can build me 3 new sites, who understands and can implement a CMS program into each site for simple updates, update the sites with pre-edited video/photo content and do basic maintenance to keep the sites looking fresh and clean. I'm not rich but for the right person/company I can provide steady work and multiple model sites to work with all through me. (I have at least 10 friends who need sites as of yesterday but finding someone who can be trusted is tough!)
I'm looking the person/company who wants to work FOR me, not WITH me.

Please include a basic idea of your monthly fee for what I'm asking and a few recent links to your work as well.
You can contact me either by:
    - email me at- [email protected]
    - leaving your info on this thread
    - AIM - vbxmvp1
    - ICQ - 360233315

Thanks in advance to anyone reading this, any suggestions or those submitting their links.

I'm not one to tell you how to run your business but I wanted to point out that a person who can create a website may not always be the best option to maintain your sites for you. It takes a lot of knowledge and experience to run a successful website and the ability to create eye popping graphics isn't really one of those needed skill sets. Typically that's an outsourced job.

You might want to try breaking those jobs up into 1) the person to create websites for you and 2) a webmaster to maintain and update your sites and edit your content.

You will probably have better luck filling the positions this way and get far more qualified people to handle your business.

I mean I've seen some AMAZING graphics artists in my time, but I wouldn't trust them to run my business. I would rather have someone with experience doing that. A person is what they are (a graphics artist, programmer, etc.) you should try and stuff to many jobs into one hat and expect any kind of success.

I agree with Kelli. Typically a good website designer would not make a good webmaster and vice versa, so you're looking for two different people. You should look for a good designer for your tour design and member area template and CMS installation and then a webmaster to build out the members area by adding in all of your content and then maintain it after that.

If you decide that's the way to go we can handle everything for you right up to the maintenance part.

                This is premium advice.

You'd be better by sending the work to a pro in each different category then hiring someone with allround skills to maintain it
