FL Studio vs. Sony Acid Pro

I didn't test them much yet, that's why I'm asking those who have enough experience with these apps.

I'm trying to choose the best one for me. FL looks pretty good and its interface is more intuitive. But Acid Pro is kinda more professional. Moreover I have Vegas so they will make a good couple later

What I like about FL:
1. I can choose among several versions (from $50 up to $300)
2. Lifetime updates

What I like about Acid Pro:
1. Timeline
2. Its interface is similar to Vegas. So it's easier to start playing with it right out of the box.

What I don't like about Acid Pro:
1. Lack of electronic/r'n'b drum beats.

I'm going to get a midi keyboard later. If you have any recommendations, please, share them here as well.

I've downloaded tons of sound packs....many electronic and r&b stuff.

but still what software do you use? I don't care about samples/tracks at the moment.
