    hosting anime/foreign programs

I'm just wondering. most hosting companies won't allow both un/licensed anime(im assuming subbed foreign shows too?) as it'd put them in a legal risk and alot of cpu/bandwidth would be used (shared environment).

There are sites which have had ddl/streaming hosted on their sites for years. only usually unlicensed programs, then they remove when the program gets licensed. how do they stay online for so long?

also could someone explain the legality?

Not sure on the legality of this but you may want to look for some bulletproof hosting or hosting in another country outside the US. Also you may want to consider dedicated/VPS servers if you are going to be using insane amounts of bandwidth. It would be better for both your site and the host
