Traffic Question

I'm using choker traffic to promote one of my sites. I noticed that there sending me over 1000 uniques today alone. When i got to my affiliate program and check my stats they only show 80. I have multiple sources of traffic going to them. Why aren't my stats way off? Do you think my signups aren't being tracked also?

Ive sent over 1000's of visitors 5 plus and 0 signups, Ive even purchased ads on other related adult sites to make sure the traffic is coming from multiple sources.

The program I'm with now has all in house tracking so not sure if that's the issue.

Keep in mind that traffic from traffic brokers has already been sent through some other sites (because it is forced/skimmed traffic). When you got 1000 visitors and your sponsors shows 80 visitors it means that you got a banner click rate of 8%. For this kind of traffic this lousy click rate seems to be normal. that is why I don't buy any forced traffic anymore. I get my visitors from SE and from hard link trade and I got a click through rate of 20% - 30%.

Your affiliate stats are problably showing either second page hits or join page hits and you may be getting a lot more to the first page but since purchased traffic is nearly useless when sent directly to a paysite, it's not unusual to expect most of them to leave as soon as they realize they landed on a paysite. Most of the traffic you're buying, unless it's "clicked" traffic is probably skimmed from TGPs and those surfers are clicking a thumb or link expecting to see a gallery with free porn on it.

Dave, check out Ravo's site http://www.buyfpctraffic.com/ for clicked traffic. However, be aware that I know nothing about your website so I'm not making a suggestions that you actually buy any traffic. The truth is that most of the traffic is worthless for most websites. Clicked text link traffic will cost you as much as $30/k.

For some reason newbies think this business is as easy as putting up a website and buying some traffic. If it was that easy, the big companies would be buying up every bit of available traffic and there wouldn't be any left for newbies to buy in the first place.

What about buying ad space on similar sites? I just started using Juicy Ads. Before I purchased the ads I did an advanced check on there traffic and ranking.
