Which software is best for screen caps

    Guys
Which software is best for screen caps? I am wondering why some of the pictures taken by screen grab applications are kinda poorn quality where as the pictures sold by content producers are so nice and crisp even though we may both be using same video
    Can someone please explain?

They either use an uncompressed version of the movie or shoot still images.

I use ULEAD VIDEOSTUDIO. Then polish them up with brightening, sometimes blurring if they are grainy or vice versa.

if you want something quick and easy there is a firefox extension called FireShot which works nicely.
