    i need a cms

im making my first site , and im using joomla as a cms, ive started encountering some problems, im finding it hard to find plugins and components that allow 'adult content'. does anyone know any payment processers or user managers for adult content, or should i just give up and use another CMS. ??

Joomla has some of the most amount of plugins offered. you should be able to work around it and get it to work with your adult site. Also, you may want to look into plone

Yes. Drupal rocks. You can also use wordpress as an cms. You should give it a try.

here's a few - i havent used them all - Joomla, Drupal and Carma are gonna be the bigger

          Content Management:

          Drupal
          Geeklog
          Joomla
          Mambo Open Source
          PHP-Nuke
          phpWCMS
          phpWebSite
          Post-Nuke
          Siteframe
          TYPO3
          Xoops

and specifically for adult - Carma from TMM.

          Open Source (Free 4 all)
I've used Joomla, Drupal, and Nuke - so far Joomla has the most flexibility (my fav). You can do anything with custom mods.

          Pay for use:
But if your into custom javascript, Carma can be dope as well. Just not the biggest fan of TMM products, knowledge base is limited.

Those are very generic content management systems. You looking to do a pay site, TGP, blog? Hit me up, I do custom programming and I specialize in CMS solutions.
