Help me with advice regarding server speed

Hi: We are launching new site soon, but we are suspicious about dedicated server.
Can you please check www.mrxxxsex.com and tell me is that slow loading site? it should be on dedicated server on 1gb link, but I think that page with size less then 800kb is loading too slow.

Beside site optimisation, can something more be done to speed up things a little? Site will have more then 40k daily, so I am affraid can this server support that.

some of the side spots are messed up in firefox (eg. library bottom is to low, webmaster area can see where it says 'content here') also some of your pics could use css sprites, like all the headers.

If you have a dedicated box, root access should be given to you . from there you can check most of the specs of the server.
