    USC section 2257

Does anyone know of a country were I can hosted my amateur porn site but were I do NOT HAVE TO KEEP PROOF OF AGE.

Everyone on the site is aged between 18 to 35

But keeping on file proof of everyone's age is a pain in the arse

That's not 100% true. Because if you live in the US, do business with US based webmasters with that content you run into the same problems. Seek out a 2257 lawyer before wasting your time trying to find a host outside of the US.

My understanding is that it's almost impossible not to do the 2257. But why take the chance of not having one? Better safe then sorry. But like others have stated consult with your attorney.

If you do not live in the US, are not a US citizen, do not host in the USA , do not use USA billing , then you have no need to comply to 2257 .

You will have to comply to the laws of your location.

We offer all our hosting in Canada .You must respect our laws ( np CP, no beasts, no hate propaganda, no necrophilia, no scatology, etc ... ).

But again, do consult a lawyer for your own protection.

Keep it over 18 - regardless of where you host it geographically. If the US can see it then you have a problem. You will have an even bigger problem if you host outside of the US and live in the US.

All the people on my future wb site will of course be 18 and over. yhe small problem I have is that te films and photos sent in to me are amateur stuff coming from all ove the world. and it far to complicated to ask people to had over their I.D cards or passports, some women even e-mailed me saying that she thought that I was into FACK documents, can you belive that. she was 36 years of age and did not understand that anyone could ou would find here any younger. Having said that When I saw here photos, true you wold not think that she was a minor, nature had not been to kind to her, poor women!!

I' glad to have explained that

The long answer is if you are selling your content to the US market, you need to be compliant. The short answer is you dont live here so the risk of being inspected is nil.

However, be aware that the US DOJ/FBI does in fact arrest people when they come into the US. This has happened on several occasions to those that were in the off-shore gambling industry and to some that had produced obscene content. They were taken off planes by the FBI when they touched down in the US.

The bottom line is if you plan on working with any US sponsors, billing companies, etc etc you're going to need to have a site that complies with US laws. If you want to limit yourself to any country other than the US then go nuts! But if you post something that looks like a 30 year old and it turns out to be a 17 year old you are fucked!

I believe that the law states that you need to keep the records at your place of business. If your place of business is in France, then so be it.
