    >>> Webcasting technical question

    We wish to live webcast (vid and audio) a series of events online. Our main audience will be in Asia, the evens will be shot in Asia also. Initially we will send the event signal to our main server in Asia for rebroadcasting to the masses.

    My question is, what about our viewers in the USA, will they be able to view the webcast without lots of rebuffering etc, or should we find a way to send the signal to both servers at same time for rebroadcasting in the nearest area (or maybe even have our Asian server send the signal over to our US server for broadcasting to the americans since its on a huge pipe)?

    Kmanrox,

    I would suggest you have your feed relay to US server to prevent constant re buffering of the video granted it would be couple seconds off in delay from the main feed but will make your US Audience happy.
