    handling storage for files

First, thanks to the suggestions and help in my other thread, much appreciated!

Right now I have a dedicated server with I think 80 gb of storage. Now when it is all said and done, every scene update will include about 2.5 -3.5 gb of files. Now that means I will be running out of storage pretty quick. I imagine the big sites require terrebytes and terrebytes of storage. What do you guys do for your members content storage? Seems like renting gb's by having biger hds installed by the host gets pretty expensive on a monthy basis.

Depends on where you host I suppose, but mine was easygoing enough to transfer everything from the old 80GB drive to a new 500GB drive, then swap into use. Suffered about ten minutes of downtime, and a bill for one hour of work. Depending on the motherboard in your box you could likely even get away with one of the new 1TB drives.
