depends what you want it to do,
AS is easy to learn, and you can use it to submit free sites as well, and confirm emails, CS has a bigger stock database and a faster auto-submit. Never really got into using DS, so I couldn't tell you it's strengths

do any of you guys get your gallery templates made by outsourced designers? is that a good idea? if so how much is a good price per template.

I used to pay between 30 and 60 per template. It's a decent idea if you can afford them and are pressed for time, or if you have no design skills of your own
