Wondering if someone could help a guy out, i have tons of video that i need to encode and am having a time of it getting great quality.
I am working with native 1080i60 hdv in final cut pro 5.1, and trying to use flip4mac Episode to encode.
I know that i need to deinterlace the footage at some point, I have already captured and edited the footage so I can't do it at capture. Am I better off to do it some way in fcp in the timeline, or when I do the encode in Episode? Also, is anyone working with 1080i hdv footage in Episode and what are the deinterlace settings you are using?
Thanks in advance for the help, I have been spending countless hours trying to get this right.
