What now?

Some things you will tell me I already know as I have spent months working on this site. But by all means, any advice is welcome and appreciated.

so far I have

• been hired as a webmaster, the company is fresh to the industry as well.
• created a template for the site
• found a host for the site and hosted it
• found "sexy" content and signed up
• made a list with a few thousand images
• designed a PHP script to display thumbs from the list at random on each page load
• am working on developing category lists and site/model specific lists
• traded hard-links with various other sites

I get an average of 150-200 unique daily visits from inbound links, and about 50 hits in a month from search engines "sexy tgp" seems to be my most popular string, from yahoo. so... that's where I'm at after about 4 months, part time, starting with zero knowledge of the industry.

I still need to

• overhaul the aesthetics (border and header graphics)
• set up trade scripts (read below)
• possibly set up a TGP script (read below)
• make my first sale
• what else?

About the scripts...
I don't know if it is my host, or my incompetence- but I can't get any 3rd party scripts to work. I believe this is because I'm on a shared host, but I can't be sure. I can't afford dedicated, nor can I afford to pay someone to install any of it. If I could I would probably install comus or roboTGP and arrowtrader. I think I may need to change hosts.

I created my own scripts and they work fine, but are amateur at best and are very time consuming to produce. I don't know how to place galleries based on clicks, nor how to maximize traffic.


so now... WHAT NEXT? how do I go from what I have created to making my first sale?
