I am working on my 2nd site - they both live on the same shared server - they each have distinct file structures; however there are two index.html files in the same main directory - I use dreamweaver for my sites and there are two different "projects" - is this enough to ensure that when a user hits my URL the correct index file is called... one is "index.html" and the other is "Index.html" or is it only currently working because of case sensitivity?

the best way is:
create 2 directories:
yourdomain1.com
and
yourdomain2.com
upload all for yourdomain1.com in DIRECTORY "yourdomain1.com"
and
all for yourdomain2.com in DIRECTORY "yourdomain2.com"
Changing Domain Settings:
That can you handle over your "server administration control" (Confixx or what ever), there you only must type the target for domains!
p.e.:
domain1.com (target: /yourdomain1.com)
and btw...the best way is to check what file will display at first (.htm, .html, .php) ... you can ask your hoster!Comment

best would be to get a new virtual account that allows unlimited ADDON domains ( as we do ).
So, for the same low price, you can host and serve many different domains.
I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !
But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....Comment
