I've seen alot of threads started about traffic and what is the best type of traffic ive been a gallery submitter and a designer and a handy man for alot of different employers and basically i've learnt a few things which i will share in this thread..
First of all to generate traffic for a new site you should do some hardlink exchanges, doesn't really matter what pr , though the higher pr and if the niche is the same the more google likes it. You can do this on the forum, or you can sign up to Thunderball.net and use there services. I also to get my blogs or sites spidered i use pingoat.com, it's meant for blogs but ive used it for sites as well and it doesn't seem to be a problem, basically it pings the site and gets your site spidered quicker from what i have found.
Then you should get you're self a copy chameleon, You can find a copy here http://www.chameleonsubmitter.com/ph....php?ref=11781 it is very simple to use and has alot of great support it is a well known reputable company so you don't have to worry about getting updates, the database of sites is updated all the time so that means each month you will have new sites to submit. There is also alot of other submitters on the chameleon site that might be of use to you.
You should use the database that comes with chameleon, if you have extra money you should look for some partner accounts there are a couple good ones around but really depends on the niche you are after, basically what works for one might not work for another, you can also find some people looking for people to submit gallerys onto there sites in the other sections of this site.
You can also use a program i have found that is free,www.smutwebmasters.com it is a link dump program which is pretty easy to use and it is free and does its job. I have added my own link dumps to it on top of the normal database that comes with it , the normal database usually brings me around 50 hits a day, i know it's not much but each click counts.
I will be posting more things whenever i have time, some of the information might not work for others but i am just posting on what has worked for me, sorry if it doesn't really make much sense ive been up for 12 hours finishing a design for a client, feel free to post questions here and when i have time i will definatley reply. goodluck!
