I'm currently set up with a merchant account and I'm using the aMember software to manage my memberships. Unfortunately, my gateway requires the credit card's CCV code for every transaction....including rebills.
The problem is that the aMember software does not retain the CCV code in the database. Apparently, doing so would be a violation of Visa regulations which seems perfectly reasonable since this is a security code.
So, my question is, does anybody know of a membership management package that DOES reatain the CCV code? Failing that, can anyone think of a workaround? It seems odd to me that the gateway would require the code even on a rebill since the card was verified the first time around, but I've had no luck getting the gateway to change this requirement so far.
