What is the average amount of bandwidth your sites use daily?

i only ask because yesterday was my highest bw usage so far.
Is 2.5gigs in a day alot for a 3 month old site that only started to get some quality traffic in the last week?

Sounds like your site is doing well! Congratulations! It would be difficult to say what average bandwidth is. Each site is so unique! Pictures, videos, and the overall look will have an affect on the traffic, and in turn, the amount of bandwidth that is used! The important part is that is sounds like your traffic in increasing, which should result in more sales for you! Best of Luck!

My usage stats say that this month I'm averaging:

58,615,724 kilobytes per day

Which I believe translates to about 58 gig per day. I generally use close to 2000 gigabytes of bandwidth per month. I use DWHSnet for my hosting and they're reliable and reasonably priced.

I'm a pay site and my movies average about 100 megabytes per 10 minutes. Most of the them are 640x480 and they stream around 1100 kilobits per second. Something like that. So, you know, that adds up quick from the Member area, and then I do have a lot of free pix and movies as well.

Congratulations your site is growing! As you've heard from other people responding to your thread, it's tough to judge bandwidth use without knowing what you are running on your site. However your numbers are going is the right direction :o)

The others above are correct that there really isn't an average usage but don't ever stop monitoring what you are using as it really can be a major indicator of what you should expect to see in your bottom line.
