No idea, in what context did you hear that but you should know that all sites in default Chameleon Database are regularly updated (every business day) which saves you the time and hassle of doing it yourself.

If you would like to make your own DB though, e.g. meaning to add sites by yourself, simply open the Chameleon Database (Database menu > Show), choose Add Site from the context menu and fill in all the required info about the site that you would like to add in "Site Details".
Further information and details about adding/editing sites in DB can be found right in Help files inside the software (Help menu > Help).

IMO however, you should focus on Partner Accounts instead.

Some websites in the database are 404... or of poor quality... or just don't last very long or have any real traffic that is not CJ... I agree with dbs101 about creating a personal Chameleon Submitter data base...

perhaps having your own database its just like, collecting your own submission sites on your list! by doing a manual submission, and I suggest that would be better!

You are problably referring to advice given by advanced submitter or dream users. This depends on your goals, if you find that for your particular niche over time and testing that 100 sites convert extremely well for you its logical to make a database of just those and submit to them accordingly.

However, for saving time and having someone do the job for you, please like Chameleon submitter (which we provide to our web partners with great success) takes the cumbersome task of doing this away at a small fee (or free with us).

Both are good ways to make income, depends on your skill level and time you wish to dedicate to testing and using your results to your advantage. My best advice is to start with an automatic setup and once your going and its working, monitor who makes you what money and "ponder" doing it all yourself.

But what do I know, I just make porn ;)

Chameleon makes it really easy to add your own sites in their already comprehensive database. Several gave the specifics above, well worth checking it out ;) Good luck!

I like to use my own database that i have collected as sometimes some of the tgps in chameleon are pretty full and take a long time to post new tgpz.
