    comus reinstall, keep database??

    hey,

    can someone tell me or point me in the right direction of how to reinstall comus without deleting/changing the database? i need to keep the categories, pics, everything.

    I guess just like other scripts. Save your old database. Make the new install using the same database details(for convenience). After the installation, delete the database and replace it with the old one.

    But this is from experience from other scripts. Wait till you hear from people who've done it with this particular script.

        save ... save ... the database...

        Use phpmyadmin to do a dump of the db on your local machine.

        Then, during re-install, if you have the option to keep the existing db, do so.
        Otherwise, you will need to restore your db from your backup.
        I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

        But I can't figure out how he can breathe or type , at the same time ....

          Maybe give that a try.
