no, just I signed up for wordpress, and I can't figure out how the ???? to use it, lol and here I am a webmaster, I never got into the whole blog thing, but ever1 here praises them, so I better figure it out....I also better hurry up and launch my site b/c it's taking me forever.........I'm to obsessive over fine details, hopefully, not it better pay off

I recommend installing WP on your own server. That way you can have complete control over it for SEOing, design etc....

I have heard good things about running a WP blog on the WP.org site. But nothing beats Hosting it yourself.

thumblogger is the best, but it is complicated, I find anyhow, no I know to d/l with winrar, I meant where to I unpackage files, which programme after d/l wordpress but either way thumblogger is crazy!

I think I am understanding your question correctly.

After extracting the WP zip file, upload (via FTP) it to any public directory on your server that you want it to be under.

Example: Depending on your server configuration, your root directory will be either "public_html" or "htdocs". If you upload the extracted files to that directory, you'll be able to see your blog at "www.yourdomainname.com". If you upload the files to "htdocs/blog" you're blog address will be "www.yourdomainname.com/blog.

Once you have it uploaded, there a quit a few things that need to be done to get it finished.

To be honest, if you are having difficulty with the basic installation of WP, you may want to get someone to do it for you.

Wordpress such major ass and you're gonna have more problems with it that you can handle, but there's no better solution atm hence it's recommended to use it, rather than trying something else. Download it doem wordpress.org and install on your own servers. version 2.3 has just been released and it still sucks ass unable to handle attachment with custom permalinks, but heck, it's all there is
