I have a question for all of you technical whizs out there. I've got about 2000 cd's and I'd like to put them all onto an I Pod without any quality loss from the CD whatsoever. I just purchased a 160 gb I Pod. Is this possible and if so how do I do it?

I always rip my cds at 320 kbs. Sounds pretty good to me. I'm not sure what cd quality equivalent is but I'm sure you could google it. -
CDs are at 192kbps I believe so dont waste space with it making it bigger. Microsoft Media Player has its own built in music extractor which isnt too bad - or checkout www.download.com - tons of solutions.

2,000 cd's will take a long time. But I think the cd quality is 192kbps. It
s been awhile since I looked, so I'm not sure. Usually, when you choose the bit-rate, it will have "(cd quality)" next to the specific option.Comment
