If you want to get rich overnight my advice is to rob a couple of shops that opens 24 hours a day. Time it right and you could make a load of cash. But otherwise no you won't get rich overnight doing something thousands of other people have been doing before you for years upon years.

From zero? Unlikely. If you have already something going, it could happen. Longevity is othen the key to success. Many webmasters have an idea, try to work on it and if they don't see any positive results within 6 months, they let go off the site... Sometimes you just have to hold on to it, nourish it bit by bit and then it can happen that the site takes off and makes you rich overnight

You need to invest lots of cash & spend several hours EVERYDAY for a few years & BUILD your wealth..

The net is SATURATED with porn & it is HIGHLY COMPETITIVE & EXTREMELY CUT-THROAT.. if you can't hack waiting & working for nothing for months before seeing any income, don't waste your time..

There's minimum payouts & hold back periods..
You need to learn the game as well as the ins & outs of the biz,,'

figure, you need to build your site, that takes time to finish, next you need to work on traffic, yet another thing that takes time, particularly getting favorable SE results, which could take 3, maybe 6 months, sometimes a year.. depends on shitload of things I don't care to write a novel about...

Industry average on first sale.. 90 days, then take into account minimum payout & holdback period.. most people see their first check around the 4th month...

This is not a lucrative business where every horny 18 year old or drunken college students can just jump in as a pipe dream.... it takes dedication, determinination, skill, and patience...

If you have no skills to bring to the table, I suggest trying something else..
like getting a job & doing this part time to learn the ropes..& then, INVEST your offline earnings into your online business, such as domains, hosting, content, script licenses, seo, traffic, etc..

I'm more than willing to help anyone, but not if you're of the paradigm that this is a rags to riches type of business, because it will NOT happen if you do not WORK IT with determination & due diligence, but patience my friend..

Well, your initial investments won't be huge, no, but figure you need domain, hosting, some scripts, buy traffic, etc.. you could be up & running on few hundred bucks depending on cost of scripts, but then you need to invest in growth.. you can cut corners to lower start-up costs, such as using free versions of scripts, etc..

But this isn't a get rich quick game.. you need to build & build.. it can take years to become wealthy off of it, BUT you can & will earn a good living doing this IF you apply yourself with determination & can be patient for those first few months..

I agree with spacedog 100%.
You have to be willing to put in time without any expectation of a return ($) for months. If this is really what you want to do then dedication to hard work shouldn't be a problem.
Keep your day job to fund your "online venture". Learn the business from all aspects: hosting, content, production, design, etc....
Keep in mind that there are very few "new ideas" out there. Success will come with perseverance. As spacedog said most will give up in six months.
Personally, I believe your road to success will come from finding multiple streams of revenue. That means you have to get paid from as many ventures as you can possibly handle. Create a pay site, create a free site, promote affiliate programs, produce your own content, do what must be done!!!! You will be surprised on how $50 here and there from dozens of "streams" will replace your day job.
When you figure it all out you can write me and tell me how to do it. LOL. Or, keep it to yourself like most who have found the formula.

Having started my site 3 weeks ago, I can tell you that you'll need to put hours in everyday. I disagree with you needing to spend a substantial amount of money to get a return, but it depends what kind of site you're running.

I just had my first affiliate sale through Lightspeedcash yesterday, and AVNads revenue is picking up.
