Here is my problem: I'm sitting here staring into a newer $200 el cheapo LCD screen. Never done anything as far as graphics on it until now and I am not trusting what my screen is showing me.
I ran into this problem a long time ago (approx like 8 years ago) when a graphic would look good on my screen only to show major optimization distortions on a higher end monitor and it crashed my ego.
If any of you 'rich' webmasters with your high end 2000 dollar monitors could give me a moment of your time I'd greatly appreciate it.
Only joking, any opinions from any type of monitors would be great. Gives me a way to compare my screen to everyone elses.

4 banners 3 jpegs 1 gif different levels of optimization. My computer is showing absolutely no difference between the gif and jpegs. Gif is a smaller file so I'm inclined to go with it. But other monitors might show different.
