    Stupid Front Page

OK, OK, call me a moron upfront for not knowing, I am new at this.

Now I know what people where refering to when they said, "why the fuck are you using Front Page for your site!".

Well, I have come this far, I know now for my next site venture.

I am trying to publish the site to my server. I need to create a members directory (which I have done) so that my IPSP can password protect this area, however, I can only transfer all of the pages to the public directory.

    Can anyone with this???????

I feel like doing this to my local storage!!!!!

Please email mailto:[email protected] if you have any suggestions or Front Page tutorials that will assist me with this.

By the way......I love this forum, thanks to all who responded to my last post.

I hope you're not trying to upload the pages using FrontPage. Please tell me that you are using an FTP client to transfer files from your computer to your server. If you are, check your permissions on the server to make sure that you have the ability to create new directories, and that those directories are assosciated with your username and that you have permission to upload files there.

Yeah, I learned a few days a go not to publish with Frontpage, that was completely useless.

I do have an FTP client and uploaded everthing in to the public folder. After realizing, after my processor told me, I needed to create a members directory so that the could instll the HT access, or PERL script.

How do I seperate my members pages and upload just them in to the members directory? And after I do this, will the links from those pages and referring pages still work.
