Anyone Dumped a link that...

Is there anyone that dumped links that really brought in more traffic.I see alot of link dump sites but is there one that really brought in viewers to your site or blog.Please lets keep the thread HONEST so we can spread karma and help each other..... not compete against each other

I don't think linkdump sites generate much traffic for the link dumper. Think about it... your link will be buried in the midst of a pile of other links, and will soon fall off the front page and into obscurity. Could help with SE tho. Just my humble opinion.

I had planned to use them for SE purposes, But thought they might have a negative effect. Anyone care to share their thoughts on this?

Using link dumps or link farms will generally have a negative effect on the linking site's search engine rankings. That's what I've found in my research, and my work.

The spider-bots see all those URLs together with little or no relevant text, and it doesn't like what it sees. The spider-bot soldiers that info back to Mothership Google [insert search engine]. When the next Google crawl takes place, the new "secret" algorithms could ding you, and if you're on a lot of these so-called link farms, your site could possibly lose its entire index.

Not worth it. There are much better ways to obtain incoming links.

there pretty sucky ive done hundred or thousands of linkdumps through a monthly basis and it hasn't even done anything for me.

Its hard to get more then 30 uniques from a linkdump (if it is a good one) and as someone already said it also can be bad for your future SE status. I did some LD submiting back in 2006. but only some old galleries or pic sample pages, never the index page

wow, what are some linkdumps you guys use? i've developed alot of linkdumps in my days, and i can't even think of one off the top of my head that doesn't get atleast 30,000 uniques a day, and send atleast 2-5,000 uniques to all links posted daily...
