new webmaster needs help

I have started my first site in april and I have done pretty well in the celebrity niche for a newcomer. Im averaging almost a sign up a day now and even got my first check before I switched affiliates (long story). My question is...

I just joined xxxcash as they were advertising my celebrity heavily. I finally asked them for a review account and found out the site that im promoting is basically a shell site to sign up to other sites and has no usable content (they dont have the video that they promote). Im sure its quite common but I was caught off guard. Are these guys reputable? or should I look elsewhere? Has anyone got paid by them or is there a site I can check up on them. Should I feel bad for misleading my visitors that do sign up?

good to see , some one with good ethics in this business , I wouldnt want to mislead my visitors , its up to you , if you cant get the money else where and need that money then go for it .

Don't try to cheat your visitors..Don't mislead them and don't send them where they don't think they are going..I think it will really cut out of your returning traffic. You want your visitors coming back to you anytime they need something

thanks for the help guys, I'm still pretty torn on whether or not to drop these guys. They are converting too well for me not to at this point. I will have to search for a more reputable source for celebrity videos in the near future. I'm still crossing my fingers on actually getting paid. Ill know in 2 weeks!

exactly what's the point of conversion and no payment? if you want to trust them, trust them. But you also should be able to verify their trutworhiness.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the sponsor. I've done a little here and there with sponsors and have found Adult Profit and Mr Skin to be great celeb programs. AP has several free celebrity sex tape sites available for users, and a few pay sites. Mr. Skin costs money for people to join, but is a highly respected site in the business. WHatever you decide to do, best of luck!

good to see someone with ethics, I stay away from those sponsors that participate in piracy sites for one

I would never operate a site on which my advertisers use false come ons, codecs, and tricks to manipulate the people I send them
