Canada webmaster can't use CCbill for visa??

I am Canadian and am trying to sign up for CCbill for a new paysite. However even though I am incorporated in the US, CCbill are telling me I need someone on the account who has US driver licence, Passport or SIN # in order to process the app??? How do other Canadian webmasters get around this? Any advice is appreciated.

fucking unbelievable, I can't believe the bullshit they want. I spent 1k to incorporate in the US because I thought that was ll I has to do, but they want the primary on the account to be American...All this just so I can give them my money.How do other Canadian webmasters use CCbill cause some do, without partnering with an American???

It has nothing to do with the biller you have to do it because its Visa's rule

You can open a company in Nevada for a few hundred dollars.

You cant get a Canadian merchant account for porn through a 3rd party because there are none

You can get a Employment Identification Number for your corporation that you opened in the US thats what you need they are free and you can get it online

I think it is time NOW for billing companies to look for canadian presence and start processing in CAN $

I am not sure if this is correct. If you are incorporated in teh US you most likely have a US Tax ID#, which should do.

I had a similar experience.
CCbill was my first choice, but their bureaucracy was killing in the signup stage.

After a couple of mails exchanged with their support on pure administrative issues, I decided to opt for Verotel - which I am so far happy I did.

The thing I dislike with Verotel is that their hosted join page seems to be done on purpose to scare as many users as possible, at least in the light ticketsclub version. (But users seem to be scared less than i feared , so...)

As a fellow Canadian, I have been there, done that... the issue CCBill has with Canadian merchants is with our laws pertaining to credit card purchases. In short, if it isn't a point of purchase sale with a signature on a receipt a Canadian can refuse the purchase with no recourse on the part of the card issuer or payment processor. The fix is simple... set up a US or European based company and use that for your CCBill account. I prefer European companies but setting up and maintaining a company in the US is way, way cheaper. You can also use a friend or family member to apply if you have someone you trust with your money. Just remember, at any time the beneficiary you choose can prove their identification, get the access and change the info to pay them directly and there is nothing you can do. Hope this helps.

canadian webmasters are doomed when it comes to visa
there are no reliable options, even though it is relatively easy for processors to set up shop here.
i have looked around for years now and have been pretty much left to mercy of shady processors that last few months or years
