I hear people talking about ABC link exchanges, can someone explain what this means please?

2 way link trades (A <==> B) don't usually hurt your SEO, but you don't gain nearly as much PR as a 1 way link coming into your site without a recip.

So the best thing to do is get a link from their PR established site to your new site, and link to their new site from your established site. This is an ABCD trade

A- Your PR established site (ex: Page Rank, 3)
B- Their PR established site (ex: PR, 4)
C- Your new site
D- Their new site

A --> D
B --> C

Or an ABC trade as mentioned above.
