I'll keep this short and to the point. I'm looking to start a paysite of my own. I have no clue where to start. Can I just get a URL, find a host and start making the site? Is that the hard way? I have 7 girls right now that want to start doing cam shows and making money ASAP. I'd like to make money ASAP as well. I know web design, can do some simple programming (my A D D hinders me from doing more complex, but I have many programmer friends), I'm a computer hardware/software guru and I get along with 99.9% of the women I meet. I'm willing to do some promoting for someone that is willing to help. Please someone put me on the right path as I wanna do this right the first time.
Need some help!!!

Instead of telling you "how to make it and launch it" my advice would be to think ahead and to take it easy at the beginning. An actual making of pay site is not that difficult, the question is are you gonna be able to sell stuff once its up?
Many people launch pay sites and they dont know what to do with them further. Therefore start only once you have enough know how and experience or shit load of money so you can pay people to do stuff for you.
However, impossible is nothing - especially these days
Good luck -
Building a paysite is easy, but making it successful is hard (i.e. getting traffic for it)
This is what I would do …
Build a free site that promotes web cams, i.e. sign up to be an affiliate with many web cam sites
With one web cam site also sign up to be a studio, i.e. you put on the shows with the girls you have and the webcam site provides the infrastructure to beam the shows to the members and bill them … for this service the webcam site takes a % and you keep the rest … it’s a great way of making money ASAP
Promote the webcam shows featuring your girls on your free site and make your free site really popular with surfers
Once your free site is getting lots of web cam traffic (i.e. surfers visiting it who are interested in web cams and your girls) and you are making money as a web cam affiliate and a web cam studio …. Then you can think about building a paysite, as by then you will have all the skills that you need to make it a success
Here is just one example of a webcam site where you can become an affiliate and/or a studio …
webcams.com - their main site
webcams.com/affiliate/?ref=webcams - signup here to become an afilliate
webcams.com/index.php?action=NewStudio - sign up here to become a studio
Good luckComment

wow, thanks for all this helpful feedback. I like that a site was even left on where to start with the webcam girls.
Women is one of the main reasons I'm doing this. Without the ones I've encountered in my life that helped me through my own life trials, I don't know where I'd be today. A couple of the girls I mentioned work at strip clubs. They are tired of guys being able to feel them up for a single dollar. Not to mention most of the other strippers there participate in alternative activities which make it even harder for the honest girl to earn what she needs. I wanna give them a safer alternative where they can earn their living making people happy and not feeling like a $2 hoe on the way home.
As for what was mentioned about keeping it interesting. My mind is that of a porn genius waiting to be unleashed. I'm sure once things get going most of you will love what I've brought to the table and the many new ideas I have for the industry. My ideas are unique, many of them inspired from some of the great paysites around today. However everyone sees things in their own way and has taste a little bit different than the next guy. The key is knowing how to portray it to others.
I know I have alot to learn with promoting and traffic as well as many other things. I'm hoping that you all will help me along there like you've begun to now. I'm willing to return the favor. I am also one that enjoys helping others, so don't be afraid to utilize my skills if needed. Didn't mention it before, but I'm also a photoshop whiz, so keep it in mind.
If I'm doing photoshoots in the meantime while I'm working on my own site is there a place or way I can sell them? I'm no professional photographer by any means, but if you seen some of the photos I've shot you may think I was.
I am going to begin this journey and keep you all updated. If there's anything else anyone would like to share/offer and would rather it not be posted then feel free to contact me. I'll leave my info below. Thanks again for all the great tips and taking the time to write them out for a noob like myself.
Regards,
Joey

you're from Boston? Make sure you know the 2257 regs before you do anything. I'd consult with an attorney before you do anything...good luck!

Just go for it and get it going, you can learn as you go. It is also better to make some mistakes and learn from them.Comment

I found someone through another message board like this that I'm going to be working with. Viv Thomas is a site I was already interested in being an affiliate with. Is there a way for it to be setup so that what is earned is split between 2 people? I'm not sure what your methods of payment are?Comment
