selling content
I have some content I want to sell. I need to sell it to be able to afford to continue producing content for my website. I never planned on doing this and need a little help/advise on the issue. Like the proper method of giving out the 2257 info and model's identification. The amount of times I should sell one scene. The content is all fresh hardly known models and totally amateur. At the moment out of all 6 shoots I have done, I believe only 2 are good enough to sell. You don't even want to know how bad some of the early shoots went. One funny story is my camera man decided to get drunk before the shoot and talked through the whole BJ scene then fucked up the money shot. Damn it was a good one too I hit the fuckin wall with the spray. Anyway after that incident I did all my own camera work and used male actors other than myself haha.
My thoughts from dealing with other shooters in the past is to charge $600.00 each scene and license out 10 maximum. Other thoughts on the issue are, how hard will it be for me to sell and what places other than message boards like this and others should I target for sales? anyone know any content buyer websites? Thanks in advance for any help guys!
