comus is easy to set up and has more options than anything on the market

...that skims at 1.5% vs. the 2% for Comus. Anyone have any specifics about which is better? Comus seems to be the industry standard ATM, but I'd like to hear from people who have used both rather than just "ZOMG COMUS RULEZ!"

I use smart thumbs on all my sites.Never really dealt with Comus so can't compare but ST works great for me

I've tried contacting Comus, Smart-Scripts and apscripts since last week, multiple times. Emails and ICQs. Started 8/09/07 and no response from anyone. I'm looking for a great thumb and trade script.

I also just started out and walked around with the same question! In the end I went with TGPX (www.jmbsoft.com). The reason I've picked this program is that it has a clear overview of where everything is, plus it has great support (support tickets as well as the forum).

I also tried out comus and have to say that it is alot alike, but I didn't like the layout + I heard that it couldn't generate different TGP sites from 1 database.

Just give the demos a try and pick what you like.

You heard from me, I'm a support tech for comus part time. Tony was traveling and doesn't use his ICQ much, it gets overloaded.

Did you post the question on the comus support forum?

These are the ways it works.
Comus is feature rich and can be customized is ways other scripts can't be, everyone is always coming up with different ideas and tring to get our help is making it custom. You can post your question here, or you can contact me at icq#270133562

Most all features that you see on other tgp scripts over the last couple of years started at Comus.

Comus is good i am using it at XteensTgp.com , but it has too many features...

good script should be easy to use without Advanced knowledge...

I think the word you're looking for is bloat. Combine a bloated script with a terrible interface and you have Comus.

Who cares were it comes from, as long it is executed properly..Besides, the idea was there even before Comus had it build in the system but it didn't have a very high priority until Comus build in this function.
Anyway peeps, Smartthumbs/Comus are both good scripts, either you like one of them or you don't, whatever floats your boat is fine..

Already thumbed? No. I wouldn't want someone making my thumbs for me. I know I implemented the gallery database idea first. Then comus picked up on the idea about a month later.

For the starter of this topic: try the demos of smart-script, tgpx, and comos, and go with what feels right, since most can do the same.

After tying myself I went with TGPX, but i'm sure the other offer great futures and maybe even more.
