is it more profitable for adult blogs to post galleries with 12+ pics or to post blog posts with four or five thumbnails leading to a tour/join page plus a paragraph or two description?

i dont blog very much...

but if i did-

i would post a big image and some adtext on the front page to warm them up, clicking thru to a gallery with more adtext . . . and (depending on how confident you are in your sales pitch), either clicking thru to a tour or a join page.

Blogging is one way of generating traffic.. It drives customers to your site... And it is good one way link... Blogging is a 1 way link...

Depends on whether you're talking about linking to a sponsor hosted gallery or one you built yourself. Personally, I would suggest using several pics in the blog post that could be clicked to enlarge and getting the surfer excited by the blog post and then linking to the paysite, but if your building your own galleries that you plan to submit to TGPs, then you might as well link to them.

i like posting one or two bigger pics (400px width) with some nice text and send them to a tour/fhg/join page - depending on the text ....

Also, it depends on your traffic source. SE traffic probably converts better without "full" galleries, since for most people those are enough to jerk off and as soon as they have jerked off they won't pay anything.
