traffic help

Hi

I have a 3 year old site that needs a shot in the arm-the content is very strong and updated daily. I need to promote this site (reciprocal links etc)
I do some google adwords but I think the real issue is search engine placement.

I guess Im looking for someone part-time to reasonably help me.

Im redesigning the home page to make it harder hitting but that is nearly done.
