The web seems to be moving more to the adoption of FLV (Flash Video) which can quickly and easily be shown via a free SWF player (such as this one) - all you do is convert your video clip to an FLV file using something like Riva FLV Encoder or an online tool such as vixy.net, then upload the FLV, and then change the parameters in the SWF player to match where your uploaded FLV is.

Hey thanks for the advie but what if I don't want it to be a flash vid. I want to keep quality.Do I just compress as WMV and MOV. Every time I try to compress a WMV with Compressor it only gives me half the clip? Once I have the clips compressed, then what? any advice please, im retarded:-(

I'd probably just stick with WMV and MOV, as RealPlayer's server was quite expensive and needed to make .rm files last time I checked.

I've never worked with Compressor, but maybe it's a trial version, or it doesn't have the correct WMV codecs installed? Try using another convertor, such as River Past Video Cleaner, STOIK Video Convertor (Free), FFmpeg or my old personal favourite, VirtualDub (Free).
