    SEO - PR links

Okay so I know getting links on pages with a good pagerank is important in the SEO game.

What's the best way to get your site listed on pageranked sites for free? Is getting your site listed in a free directory generally very helpful?

First: PageRank doesnt help you on your SERP's. At least not it's notable. I have a PR2 blog which is better ranked on some terms than PR 7-8 sites. You will simply get a more valuable domain and if you start selling links, you'll obviously get more money for it.

List your site in lots of directories with the keyword that you want to be found as link name if possbile.

Bc. This will work as a backlink and google indexes you.

Otherwise check out TLA's and optimize your content.

Yes, if you can. The best way is to exchange links, in a few words. Plus a lot of theory for in-depth SEO ...
