How to get conversion on starting website?

Dear all,

I've started the website http://www.cuntcabin.com sometime ago and am buying cheap traffic from trafficholder.com.

This has gotten me one free signup for adult friendfinder in a few thousand hits total.

As you can see I'm also active in this forum and I've already got 2 friends 'in the bizniz'.

One of them advised me to start trading hardlinks, which I have done. Those hardlinks are getting me about 50 hits per day now.

As I understand it, it's possible to make a profit with relatively simple pornsites.

Mine is, at the moment, relatively simple. When comparing it to other simple pornsites that do convert, I can't think of a reason why my couldn't.

I change the layout every week or so to experiment. Right now I got some embedded flash movies on there since yesterday. Before that I had a few webcam streams at the top. Before that I had the thumb page (which is now way down below) at the top.

People click on it and everything, but... I'm not making any sales.

A friend of mine, who also set up a pornsite at http://www.modelindexxx.com has way less traffic than me and has made 2 sales. His conversion is about 1 in 900.

Why him but not me?

I'm planning on writing a few PHP scripts that will allow me to add cherrypicked content into a database which will then be displayed randomly. I'm planning on making more pages and writing some accompanying text to go along with it. I'm hoping to give the site a human touch that way. Make it unique.

But it would be disappointing to see that those efforts, too, will not help anything at all.

I'd really like to make a sale.

Can anybody help me make progress please?

It looks like you've just started out. You shouldn't expect results straight away. it takes a while to begin getting conversions. As you get more hardlinks, they'll start converting rather than just visiting and clicking the close button.

Have you tried to analyse what your visitors are doing on your site? Figure out what part of your site is most popular and promote that. If visitors aren't interested in the first thing they see on your page, they won't bother scrolling down to see the rest.

Signup with a sponsor like HowIGotRich..They will give you free content to use in your galleries. Download the content and create a gallery with the images. Submit that to TGP's and they will list it on their site. When visitors come into their site they will click your link to view your gallery

You have to start submitting TGPs its a gallery submission for promoting your site, and its very helpful especially to beginners.

Is there any way I can host the pictures elsewhere so I can go easy on my own bandwidth? I got 250Gb a month now and I'll probably burn through that fast when I have my own content and lots of people are visiting.

Also, I don't see where I can submit the galleries I'm going to create...

On an unrelated note, having 8 flash players might not be a great idea, they take up huge amounts of memory, and some users computers will slow to a crawl.

Jow dude, I believe you just started out, this means you can't expect results right away! wait a few week (let say 8 or so) and more and more traffic will come to your site which means more sales. It's a good thing that you keep updating your site every now an then.

If you want some software for your TGP, I would go for an existing program and not write something yourself.
