    Changing to a new Host

Well a few post ago I was asking about some scripts that I was trying to run on my 1and1 account. Well turns out That they wont let me run any scripts. So I signed up with Dream Host. So I called 1and1 to have them unlock my domain name. I went into the control panel also and changed my name server to Dream host. Now I need to upload all my files to dream host. Now what I need to ask here is
1: When 1&1 unlock my domain name will dream host pick it up just like that(I put my domain name as one of my free ones and they tried to get it but said it was locked)

2:Is there something I missed. I would like this to turn around as smothe as I can.

You need to read the TOS. It's seldom a good idea to host with you registrar for this very reason. Often they have terms that stipulate charges if you leave and/or ownership retention.

    Good luck!

That is a great peice of advice, seek out the support from your host. The boards can be a great place for assistance but let your host know what you need and for something like this they should be very quick to respond.

              Good luck.

Well Thanks to all who posted help on here. I have my site up and running on dream host. I will give it a try for the few weeks and If I feel that it not going to work out then I will look into the other host you all talked about . But they did get back to me with in a few min of me reporting my problem so The support looks like for now is what Im looking for.... Now maybe Im going to start a post on setting up a tgp with robotgp...
                  Thanks all...
