    using wordpress for paysite?

    Does anyone here use or know of anyone using wordpress for a paysite? I am currently building some sites, and had an idea for building one site as a blog with wordpress. One question I have is can I tie it in with my other sites and the ccbill users database? Also, are there any good tools for building a wordpress site with this kind of functionality, allowing previews of posts but locking up parts for the members area.

              If you know your CSS and PHP you can use it as a CMS indeed.

                I have not figured it out 100% but I'm thinking of creating a wp front end for my cms and running with NATS. When I get closer to piecing it together I'll actually sit down and plan it all out.

                    It's not a good idea to use it for security reasons

                        There is a paypal membership plugin that allows you to sell memberships and then restrict certain posts and categories to members, which I guess could be modified for ccbill with some work.

                        However seeing as how cheap programmers are these days I don't see why somebody wouldn't just get a custom script done.

                          Sounds like it would be a better use of resources and time to use something better suited for the task rather than trying to get WP to do it.
