    Javascript help!

I reinstalled my OS a almost amonth back and ever since I havent been able to see banners that are presented through javascript. All paid banners on GFY, basicly banners that are scripted with Javascript.

GFY is not my concern, actually quickens things. But other sites that I run and what not I need to see where my and others banners are.

I have tried everything I can think of. I have reinstalled java runtime. In the options, javascript and java are enabled.

I just dont know what else it could be.

Im sure something simple, but if someone could enlighten me...that would be much appreciated.

    Hi,
javascript doesnt have anything to do with java.
It is a browser based issue, depends what browser you actually use.
Could be anything from your simple internet options, to your firewall set to block rogue JS.
    Thanks

Right i know the difference between the two...I just threw it out there...

Ill bet it has something to do with the firewall as you say, how would I go about correcting this
      ?

        Hi,

The easiest way to start is to just disable the firewall for a small period and see if the JS starts working.

If so, what firewall do you use?
Some firewalls have built in ad disablers.

What browser/browser version are you using?
        Thanks
