    Help understanding gallery layout

    1) I thought that the whole idea of creating my own gallery then submitting it to a TGP is so that when users land on my gallery page, then they can go to my site, but i was told by a forum user that my gallery page is meant only to promote my sponsor.

1 a) So what is the purpose of the thumbnails on my gallery page at all?

1 b) Do the thumbnails belong to me as the gallery submitter/owner, or do they belong to my sponsor?

    2) The thumbnails should only link to a larger image version of it right?
2 a) Why do some thumbnails, when clicked, link to other html pages? I'm confused even more when I see this.

    3) Should the URL address that I see at the bottom of my screen when my mouse passes over each thumbnail lead to the gallery submitter's (my) site or my sponsor's site? I heard that TGPs won't usually accept galleries with links to a gallery submitter's (my) own website.
3 a) So, who's website should the URL link (that appears when i pass over each thumbnail) lead to? I'm asking because the link over the sponsor's ad and the thumbnails are usually different.

Puleeze help me! and please answer each question clearly so i can really understand it.

Where can i get informationo on building a TGP?

do you own your own paysite ?

if you do then you would use content from your paysite to populate your gallery page. put 2 links in there back to your paysite.

if you don't then you're promoting someone else and you link back the them.

all your thumbs link to a bigger picture not your website ...

You can put links to google on your galls if you want .. but I ask you : What do you want to achieve with your gallery? I believe you want to make money. And the only way to make money is to sell someone something. And this is what a gallery does. With a gallery you give a small amount of free content, present it to the user and try to tease him to sign up for a full membership.

You can get traffic to your own site through recips. It would be a waste of money if you would use out links as feeder traffic.

1 a) So what is the purpose of the thumbnails on my gallery page at all?
You give the user a little bit for free, hoping he likes what he sees and that he would like to see more and pay for it. Same happens when you go into a shop with perfume and they give you free samples of perfumes. They hope you like it and buy the whole bottle.

1 b) Do the thumbnails belong to me as the gallery submitter/owner, or do they belong to my sponsor?
If you shot the pics yourself it's your content and you can do whatever you wnat with it. Same if you have bought a license for that.
If you got the content from the sponsor it belong to the sponsor and you may only use that content for the promotion of the mentioned sponsor.

      2) The thumbnails should only link to a larger image version of it right?

Where did you see those pics ? TGP Thumbnails can lead to other pages , it is blind link to other tgps. ( __ > Trading). TGPs are not galleries.
Sometimes hosted galleries link to other html pages which contain the bigges picture and some more outlinks. This is simply to give the surfer the option to jump to the sponsor directly. When he sees that pic he wants to click it ;)

When you build galleries you are not allowed to do that ( See rules of the tgps)

Don't use mouse over effects! Thumbs should link to bigger pictues Period.

You can link to your website through a recip as long as it is a tgp or related site.

When you move over a thumbnail you should see the url you link to. Means : NO MOUSE OVER EFFECTS.

Thumbs link to the bigger image of that picture. Thuimbs are a preview of the actual picture.
SPonsor links and banner link of course to the banner. The purpose of a gallery is to pormote a specific sponsor not some other TGP. If oyu want traffic for you TGP buy some traffic !
