Domain name question

I am just starting out in this business, and was wondering how important the domain name for your site is! It is really hard to find a good domain name that isn't taken. Any pointers?

It's not too easy to find good domain name, but it's possible. If you're going to build good and well known site, then domain name is very important.

really depends on what your project is. If you are just submitting gallereis it deosn't matter that much really. For a paysite, well yeah.

if your branding a name dotcoms are good.. we always try to dotcom what we require. there are also local domain extensions that are good if you dont care about the dotcom craze. .us. .ca .net. org etc. in the end, any site is better then no site :P
