Need graphic help

Was wondering which program I would need to get flames and other effects in my photos was trying to post an example of what I want but wont let me upload image or url

Howdy, you're thinking of photoshop plugins. Not sure what photoshop ships with these days but ... here is a link. this plugin might work for your graphics program i don't know.... alienskin

I would advice not using any plugins for flame effects or any visual effect, instead get some nifty brushes and play around with them.

You can find a lot of very nice brushes on deviantart dot com search flame brushes pick a few you like that may go with your design ideas then search on google for photoshop flame tutorials and just use the collor effects on your flame layers.

For more in depth play around with 8-12 flame layers and see what you can come up with.
